My husband owns the Santa Cruz canvas shoe as well as the Santa Cruz corduroy shoe and there is a HUGE difference in fit. There is NO ARCH SUPPORT in the corduroy pair and the corduroy pair seems to fit tighter. Not as comfortable as the canvas pair at all. I am not sure why this is. We are returning the corduroy pair and searching for the fabulous arch support and comfort the canvas pair offers. He loves his original canvas pair so much, he's worn them out. I love them too, but they're about four sizes too big for me. I can't find a men's pair small enough for me and I haven't found them in a women's shoe yet.
