I was going crazy looking for a leather soled shoe that would fit. This shoe does run small. I ordered a half a size bigger and I can manage with that, but I think I could have ordered a full size bigger and it would have been a little better. Also, I do have wide feet so I ordered the wide width that was available. I'd say the width runs true. The foot strap secures with a buckle and not that loathsome velcro, that never stays closed.
I would recommend this product, with the size adjustment caveat. I have flat feet so the arch support seams light moderate to me. The heel has good depth and the toe box is comfortable for my wide foot.
