These slippers give support when you are least focused on problems that can arise when poor footwear is worn. The inch or so heel gives support to my back and feel more comfortable than walking barefoot or walking in slippers that too soft. I like this particular slipper because it's made well enough to last. Also, most stores no longer carry them.
